Why We Need You:

Riders form the beating heart of our operation and company. Without riders, Peddler cannot be active and successful. We are currently expanding to multiple cities and need to provide our large and motivated group of cyclists with working shifts in each of these locations. As a Planner, you will help us achieve this!


Your Role:

This role involves coordinating and organizing the schedules for Couriers in various cities. You'll use forecasts that will be provided by our Operations team to plan when and where riders are needed, and adjust schedules if some riders are unavailable. You'll also communicate with HR regarding your needs, the riders’ attendance and other HR-related matters. Additionally, you'll stay in close contact with the Rider Controller, providing updates on the status of the riders and ensuring that there are enough riders to meet daily delivery targets. Furthermore, when challenges arise, you'll collaborate with the recruitment team to meet scheduling requirements. Overall, your responsibilities include weekly scheduling and daily management to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations - so this role is pretty communicative.

Job requirements

Your Profile:

  • Fluent in Dutch and conversational level in English.

  • MBO or similar education OR experience working in healthcare could be suitable.

  • Ideally, you have some experiences in shift planning or an industry that is connected to it. However, it's not a must if you bring the following skills.

  • You’re capable or curious about Excel work (so you learn fast).

  • You are see the work that needs to be done, are service-oriented and have fun dealing with people.

  • You are an attentive person and creative in finding solutions for every issue the people might have.

  • “Organisational talent” is your second name & you like to communicate with people.

  • You don't stop until you reach your goals, and we're the backstage crew ensuring your work-life dance is a comedy, not a drama! ;)
