Summary:

The Logistics Planning Manager is responsible for planning and managing the movement of riders and rider fleets to ensure efficient and effective operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, transportation planning, and fleet management.

What you'll do

  • This position is responsible for overseeing a team of rider planners and fleet manager

  • Develop and implement daily capacity management structure to meet the needs of the organisation

  • Manage the allocation and scheduling of riders and rider fleets and manage the team for smooth handling of the process.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation operations

  • Monitor and track rider and fleet performance metrics

  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in rider planning and fleet management

  • Implementation of fleet maintenance & repair structure

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in rider planning and fleet management

  • Responsible for different projects involved in the Operations Team

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, logistics or a related field

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience, experience in logistics is preferred

  • You speak Dutch and English fluently.

  • Familiarity with transportation planning software and tools, such as Google Sheets & Excel

  • Experience in project management, preferably in logistics

  • You have great spatial awareness and can visualise routes easily.

  • You are excellent at prioritising tasks and can make impactful decisions quickly.

  • You are a great communicator. This role requires you to be in constant communication with multiple teams in multiple cities, both in Dutch and in English.

  • You are empathetic but realistic.

  • You are a problem solver and multitasker:  proactive and solutions-oriented mindset to tackle operational challenges.

  • This is an onsite role.
