What you'll do

Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career? Peddler is looking for a dynamic Financial Controller to guide our Finance department in the big questions. This is your chance to make a real impact by overseeing all financial activities, shaping strategic decisions, and driving our financial success! • Lead financial reporting and analysis to uncover insights
• Create and manage budgets that propel our growth
• Implement innovative financial policies and procedures
• Take charge of payroll and accounts for seamless operations
• Prepare compelling financial statements and reports from our systems together with our Operations Analyst that tell our story and can stimulate our growth
• Accompany our Bookkeeper with the everyday to-dos in Finance to always have the overview of what's going on
• Oversee the meticulous preparation of financial statements for the organization
• Monthly Planning and Control Cycle: Execute the monthly planning and control cycle, overseeing financial activities to ensure adherence to established timelines and accuracy in reporting
• You are the point of contact for many stakeholders in the financial field

• Experience in financial management
• Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Conversational English speaking skills - Dutch would be ideal, but not necessary.
• Proven track record of financial analysis and reporting, understanding of financial processes
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret financial data and attention to detail
• Result oriented with a high sense of responsibility and integrity
• Good communication and interpersonal skills - you like to ask the “why” question
• Ability to work collaboratively (you’ll have one Bookkeeper colleague and report and collaborate with the CFO)
• It's a plus if you have experience with Exact Online and/or Data Warehouses
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  
• Another plus: Experience in logistics or fulfillment.
