To continue making the planet a greener place, we need great people. And those people need support from our amazing People team. As HR Admin, you'll be the backbone of our People operations, handling core administrative and operational HR tasks:



What you'll do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all employee inquiries (contracts, policies, benefits, payroll, etc.).

  • Manage full-cycle HR operations: onboarding, off-boarding, updating internal systems, compliance documentation, and employment contracts.

  • Coordinate payroll data with our external payroll partner : tracking working hours, absences, contract updates, and resolving any discrepancies .

  • Maintain and improve HR documentation: employee handbook, FAQs, templates, and policy updates.

  • Support compliance with Dutch labor law : including records, contracts, and statutory filings.

  • Participate in HR improvement projects: process mapping, reporting dashboards, and efficiency initiatives.

  • Helping the recruitment team in co-ordination of interviews and followups.

  • Provide HR-advisory support to employees, working closely with senior People team members on sensitive or escalated cases.

Job requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in Dutch HR administrative roles (start-ups or scale-ups a plus).

  • Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).

  • Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Experience with HR systems (Recruitee, Google Sheets, NMBRS) and payroll coordination.

  • Confident understanding of Dutch employment law and HR best practices.

  • Reliable, proactive, and able to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passionate about sustainability and motivated to support Peddler’s mission.
