By partnering with over 500 local stores on our platform, we strengthen local retailers in our cities and connect them to the consumer demand using innovative technologies. Our established network enables us to offer same-day delivery from individual stores, leading retail chains and globally recognized brands with our 100% electric fleet.

Our mission is to transform current urban logistics into a fully sustainable network - beyond local retail. We achieve this in collaboration with international partners who supply our city hubs, after which we handle the last-mile delivery with our electric fleet. What you'll do

  • Hire great talent for our headquarters and hubs, and be the second line of defense for our high-volume Courier pipelines together with another TA Partner.
  • Lead interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural compatibility together with the Hiring Managers.
  • Review, improve, and create successful and fast hiring processes to prepare for pre-planned hiring sprees.
  • Initiate and oversee Employer Branding efforts to ensure enough movement in the pipelines and a rising employer brand on the start-up sky.
  • Partner with hiring managers: Advise them on recruitment best practices to represent Peddler and your candidates' interests in the best way possible and keep them up to date with data about what's going on in your pipelines. 
  • Any more ideas how to improve things? Great, bring them up with the team and turn them into something real.
  • Support the People Team in retention, onboarding, reporting, and Employer Branding areas.

Job requirements

About you

  • You are fully comfortable leading the recruitment process from job definition to onboarding, including interviewing, closing, and paid recruiting initiatives, amongst others. We are thinking around 2-4 years of experience, but we value skills over exact dates.

  • You're comfortable working with an ATS (we work with Recruitee).

  • You are data-driven and can build up and improve recruitment metric reports (we use Google Sheets and the Recruitee Reports for most of our reports).

  • You are proactive and comfortable working in different set-ups (independently, collaborative, with stakeholders) to get things done. Meaning: You pick things up yourself and go get it done with and without your fellows!

  • You are an approachable people-person and in doubt enjoy to exchange with other team mates about your plans, so you find the best possible outcomes.

  • You enjoy working in a startup environment: you make fast decisions, you value the MVP, and can pivot priorities without sacrificing quality.

  • Conversational Dutch is necessary - we're a fully international team, so we'd love to have a safe Dutch speaker with us!

  • We cannot provide visa sponsorship for this role - you'll need to have a work permit or EU citizenship.
